My journey in aviation began 16 years ago, with dreams of becoming a pilot. Having been born and brought up in Handsworth, I have been fortunate to have had the loving support of my family and sangat in every endeavour. In school I was fond of Maths, Geography and Physics whilst imbued with the Khalsa philosophy.
These interests guided me towards flying and whilst at University studying Biomedical Science, I applied to join the Royal Air Force as a pilot. I have never looked back. I spent 4 years in the RAF before pursuing a career in commercial aviation. I have since flown all around Europe with Easyjet for 5 years and further around the world with Virgin Atlantic for the last 7 years. I have flown from east to west and around the world about 48 times.
